Residential, Accessory Dwelling Unit

My client is a 65-year-old teacher and grandmother. She has many passions, including cooking, teaching, and spending time with her family. This energy efficient home tests out the boundaries of comfort and luxury of Accessory Dwelling Units- a rising form of micro-housing across the U.S.

This house functions as a combination of a versatile display space for her passions and sustainable building methods. It’s multi-use programs create flexible spaces for both our client, and future generations to come.
